Many Liberian children want desperately to go to school but cannot afford it. Your donation will provide tuition, uniforms, books and transportation to a local school, as well as much needed healthcare for the students. Whether a single donation or combined amounts from several contributors, the life of a child will be changed. Your donations will help a child who would otherwise be roaming the streets or working in the fields just to survive—with no hope of ever being able to live a better life—to discover and participate in a world outside the poverty he/she was born into. Your donation will provide an education for a child from a village too far from a city to ever be able to go to school without your help; it may even be the only child from that village willing or able to attend a school so far from home. Our hope is for that child to return to his village and encourage others to attend or teach others what he has learned. Your gift of an education is a gift that can be shared, touching the lives of many in ever-widening circles. Whether the child becomes a teacher, a nurse, a writer, a politician or a farmer, his/her life and the life of all he/she helps will be improved. Sponsors can follow their student’s progress throughout the year and will receive, upon request, a picture and relevant information about the child their donations provide for.
