Project Ramadan
Every year the Ri’ayah Foundation distributes food during the holy month of Ramadan to families in different communities in Liberia. Many are living in penury, and obtaining three square meals a day is difficult or impossible for many families. With a passion to help, Project Ramadan was born.
We started by making annual distributions of food to students and families in our sponsorship program. We have distributed food to families in the Po River, Clay Ashland and Iron Factory communities for the past five years. Every year, we expand our distributions by adding another community, thus increasing the number of beneficiaries. We would like to expand to many other communities and villages as well, but this cannot be achieved without the unstinting support of our generous patrons.
